Which secrets hide behind
the mysterious beauty
|
||||||
When you look at a successful Japanese garden, you are immediately seized
by an atmosphere of calms and serenity which seems to emerge from each
element and their unit at the same time
Your imagination is released, and quickly, these aren't any more the eyes which look at, but your heart which seems to penetrate in old worlds, emerged from deepest from your unconscious.
Each stone, each plant, shrub, small bridge, basin or decorative element doesn't seem there only by chance, but takes a significance from which the direction escapes to us a priori, but which one feels well that they transmit a message, a word that we want to decode the real direction, to understand why there is something of essence, which for a few moments gives direction to our life.
Only truly masters of this art undoubtedly hold the genuine keys of this mystery, but probably comes owing to the fact that a Japanese garden is not the simple accumulation of decorative elements intended to charm the glance.
That would be already a satisfactory result, but more deeply, the japanese garden tries to represent by natural elements a whole philosophy developed by the man during millenia, philosophy of a humanity which can survive only when it is in harmony with the medium in which it lives.
This is why a Japanese Garden, small or wide, recreate a universe with it all alone, a universe where we'll find all the essential elements, water, ground, fire, drills, mountains...
We will find the obstacles of nature there, the ways created by the men or the animals, a diversified vegetation in constant evolution, a universe where the atmospheric conditions and the passing seasons will create landscapes with the colors changeantes, symbolizing the time which passes untiringly.
In fact, the size of your future Japanese garden is not an essential element of the success.
You can perfectly make a success of a small garden and miss a large one, and conversely.
The main thing is to seize the spirit of it and to seek the harmony.
To create a Japanese garden is not a superhuman task which requires years of efforts or vast specialized knowledge.
It is a task which requires some time, a bit of reflexion and some basic knowledge in order not to make coarse errors which would require many efforts to repair.
You can "japonized" a corner of your garden, model all your garden from zero, or to make evolve an existing garden to gradually introduce there this spirit characteristic of the Japanese garden.
The main thing is well to understand why and how you decide to choose such or such arrangement, such plant or shrub, if you decide to make a basin or not, which decorative elements you will introduce there, why and how you will place them.
